Midnight Margaritas

The Midnight Margarita scene is such an iconic scene from the Practical Magic movie, and surprisingly enough, was not part of the book series.  But, it's hard to imagine Practical Magic without some Midnight Margaritas.  

This amazing and fun movie scene was the inspiration for this "Midnight Margaritas" soap.

Midnight Margaritas is made with coconut oil, olive oil, shea butter and castor oil.  It is colored with French green clay and activated charcoal powder and naturally scented with lime, lemongrass, rosemary, lemon and grapefruit essential oils.  And, it's topped with cute little crescent moon embeds and some salt.

French Green Clay:
French green clay has been used for centuries for its purifying and detoxifying properties and, when applied to the body, is thought to cleanse the aura, helping to remove emotional residues and energy attachments.

Activated Charcoal
Activated charcoal has detoxifying and exfoliating properties and is believed to ward off harmful energies.

Essential Oils:
Lime (for cleansing, purification and enhancing creativity and focus ) - antiseptic, antibacterial, exfoliating and anti-aging properties.
Lemongrass (for boosting mental clarity and focus) - antibacterial, antimicrobial, astringent, anti-inflammatory, and detoxifying properties.
Rosemary (for protection) - stimulating, antioxidant-rich, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties.
Lemon (for energizing and uplifting and for attracting positivity and joy) - antibacterial, antiseptic, astringent and exfoliating properties.  It is also known to brighten and even skin tone.
Grapefruit (for encouraging joy and optimism) - promotes a healthy, glowing complexion; includes antibacterial, antimicrobial, astringent and detoxifying properties.

To make your soap last longer - in between uses, place your soap on a dish that drains, for example, our bamboo soap holders. These holders allow for drainage and ventilation, which helps dry your soap so it lasts longer.
